Nielsen Computer & Mobile Panel is your opportunity to be a part of the research we do here at Nielsen. This panel helps understand how consumers use the Internet by studying the websites people like you visit. By simply registering and/or installing our technology, either on your computer, tablet, or smartphone, you are helping mold the future of the online world.

At Nielsen, we're all about understanding computer and mobile trends - including the devices you use, the types of applications you use, the content you view and listen to, as well as the websites you visit on your computer, phone, tablet or other registered mobile device. Your everyday activities as a panelist will help us understand how people use their computers and mobile devices. It doesn't matter if you use your computer or mobile device a lot or a little or how you use it, the information on your usage is important to us and a valuable contribution to our research! Plus, you will be rewarded for your participation! By joining you can play games for rewards, receive sweepstakes entries, and/or earn points depending on your level of participation. Our app will let us know what websites and apps you go to and how long you stay there. We do NOT collect user IDs or passwords. For more information on the type of data being collected and privacy practices, please read our Privacy & Cookie Notice

Your data is combined with the data of thousands of others like you to provide insights to our clients while protecting everyone's anonymity. Your information is protected as described in our Privacy & Cookie Notice and will never be used to directly market or sell products to you.

We combine the information that comes from our panelists with data and research tools from other sources. We use this information to perform research and to prepare reports and analyses concerning Internet audience demographics, behavior and use.

There is no fee to join this panel. Please note that you will never need to provide credit card information or purchase anything in order to participate.

For signing up you will receive opportunities to play scratch-off or spin-the-wheel style games to earn rewards. For installing our software on at least one computer and staying connected, you will be entered into our monthly sweepstakes. For installing our app on one or more mobile devices and staying connected, you will receive points redeemable for up to $50 a year in rewards.

In order to be eligible to join, you must meet all of the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract.
• Be the owner of any computer and/or mobile device onto which you authorize the software download.
• If there are any minors within your household, you are the parent or guardian of any minor with access to the devices you are registering.
• You agree to inform those individuals with access to your computer and/or mobile device on which the software is installed that you have agreed to join the panel, and these individuals have given you their explicit consent to be a part of the panel and to be subject to the panel membership agreement.
• If you are installing the software at work, you have the permission to do so from your employer.

You receive opportunities to win cash and prizes just for signing up. In addition, each month we give away $10,000 in our sweepstakes; everyone active in the computer panel has a chance to win. There are opportunities for additional prizes depending on the devices you register and which panels you qualify for. For more specific rewards information, please see the table below.

Nielsen Computer & Mobile Panel is an on-going project. Your participation in our Internet research is at your discretion. Should you ever decide to stop participating, you may do so at any time. Simply login to the Profile Management page and choose to opt-out under the "Account" section, and follow the applicable instructions to completely remove the Nielsen app or software from your devices.

If you are having trouble logging in you should click the "Can't Login?" link on the Log-In page. From here you can follow the instructions to reset your password. If you still have trouble please contact our help desk and ask for assistance.
